DRT Mountain Bike Race Series - Starts April 18th!

Received this information today from our good friends at DRT Consulting. The DRT Race Series is an excellent addition to your calendar, particularly if you are targeting the DINO race series. Many of the DRT and DINO races this year will be within a 2 - 3 hour drive of Louisville, and - as always - promise to provide the highest quality of promotion and racing!

A few words from Don Galligher, owner of DRT Consulting:

Welcome to the DRT Series. It is a five event grass root production trying to put the fun back into MTB racing! Series awards will be given, and each event will present individual age group and overall accolades. The series goal is to give a complement for your preparation for the premiere events in our region, and for beginners to have a non-threatening event to get their feet wet. The series will visit many excellent trail systems throughout the state, and thanks to HMBA, we have many great venues to choose from. A portion of the proceeds from the two events held at BCSP will be donated to HMBA to further trail development in the state of IN.

The First Brown county Event will an off-road TT, conducted in a point-to-point format. The date is Sunday April 18th. Racing will start at 1:00pm. Riders will start in groups of 4 and will be staged based on order of registration. There will be a day of processing fee of $5.00 Avoid the lines and secure your starting position by registering early! You can pre-register after March 1 on Bike Reg, or by stopping by and picking up a registration form from Revolution Bike and Bean. (also one attached can be mailed) Also those preregistering will receive a free t-shirt, and swag bag from the sponsors: Qaurrymen Coffee, QBP, Revolution Bike and Bean, Specialized, and Tifosi Optics. Once again we will do medals at each event for age group and prizes and Cash for overall placers.
